Overview

Pick up legal documents from attorney offices
File paper work into the court clerk's office
Locate the physical whereabouts of the intended recipient of the legal documents
Deliver the legal documents to the intended recipient
Return a copy of the document to the attorney office

Hours

Work is performed as necessary
Sometimes, it is necessary to "stake out" a home or business for the purpose of intercepting the target This may require early mornings or late evenings
Some cases require travel to other parts of Alabama

Requirements

Be intimately familiar with Birmingham and surrounding area, including streets, roads, and businesses
Have a current drivers license
Have access to an automobile from which to effect process service
Liability Auto Insurance

Skills

Better than average communication skills

Compensation

Each local paper service pays $ 15.00 to 30.00 plus mileage
Special assignments are paid at an hourly rate
Distant Travel is paid at an hourly rate
