Surveillance Investigator

Investigations (VRC), one of the Nations leading, most experienced Investigation Companies, currently has career opportunities for experienced, self-determined, and highly motivated SURVEILLANCE INVESTIGATORS to join our team of professionals in our efforts to deter and combat insurance fraud. We have several positions available in our rapidly expanding Investigations Unit. We have Part-Time, Full-Time and contract positions available, with room for advancement into Claims Investigator and our newly formed SIU. This position is an hourly and non-exempt position If you’re not looking for a new job, you probably know someone who is. We want to talk with them too.

Responsibilities:
Investigator responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Conduct various types of investigations where Insurance Fraud is suspected.
• Covert surveillance
• Background checks
• Obtaining and verifying documents
• Record all findings into a clear , concise report
• Obtain video evidence
• Obtain recorded statements
• Gather and submit evidence
• Testify as needed at hearings and trials
• Work independently

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have related experience:
• Private Investigator
• Honorably discharged from one of the military branches
• Law Enforcement
• Loss Prevention
• Criminal Justice Degree
• Security





Requirements:
Must meet the following requirements:
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Valid drivers license
• Be able to analyze complex information
• Be a sequential thinker
• Be able to formulate an investigative plan
• Proficient with Microsoft office products
• Must be available for regional travel to include overnight stays
• Must own a suitable and approved surveillance vehicle
• Self starter
• Work independently
• Motivated
• Own a laptop Windows based not older than two years
• Own a stand alone GPS unit with spoken turn-by-turn directions
• Clean credit history
• Clear criminal history
• Private Investigators License , mandatory in some states, a plus in others, sponsorships available
• Insurance knowledge a plus

• The candidate must pass all pre-employment testing. Upon job offer you must attend two weeks of paid formal training at our corporate training academy. This training will be followed up by on-the-job and progressive, specialized training as needed.

Benefits:
VRC provides their investigators with necessary equipment and comparable pay, to include drive time pay, above normal commute mileage reimbursement, and allowance for non-reimbursed business expenses. Compensation:
VRC employees are paid on a bi-weekly basis. Investigators are paid either an hourly wage or are salaried employees depending on the hiring level. Hourly investigators wages range from $ 11.00 to $21.91 an hour.
